Counselling and Psychotherapy
About Me
As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with over 22 years of experience in education and mental health.
My journey has taken me across 4 continents, where I have lived and worked for significant periods, gaining invaluable experience in multi-cultural situations and working with diverse clients, including foreign overseas workers, teams, and NGOs.
Since 2010, I have been providing quality therapy to couples and individuals, drawing upon my extensive knowledge and training in various therapeutic approaches. In particular, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly effective, evidence-based approach to couples counselling that focuses on strengthening the emotional bond between partners.
Having lived in Africa for 22 years and Southeast Asia for 28 years, I have developed a keen interest in the cultural impacts on relationships, particularly where one or both partners have lived or worked internationally. This experience has equipped me with the sensitivity and understanding necessary to support couples navigating the challenges of cross-cultural relationships.
I am passionate about helping my clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships, empowering them to make positive changes and lead more fulfilling lives. Whether you are an individual seeking to overcome personal struggles or a couple looking to strengthen your bond, I am committed to providing you with the support, guidance, and tools you need to achieve your goals.
If you are ready to take the first step towards a brighter, more emotionally fulfilling future, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session with me. Together, we can work towards transforming your relationships – with others and with yourself – and creating the life you truly desire.
